Litigation is a public process that resolves disputes in court, where a third party, such as a judge or jury, makes final decisions for you and the other party after weighing the evidence, unless you settle your dispute using an Alternative Dispute Resolution process, such as Negotiation or Mediation. The litigation process may involve hearings and temporary orders culminating in final orders that are usually entered only after a trial with witnesses. Settlement can occur at any point in the process and often does during the pretrial period of discovery and preparation. The focus of Andrews Dispute Resolution is Alternative Dispute Resolution in the form of Online Negotiation and Online Mediation. I also provide Online Document Services via Andrews Document Services. While I am an attorney, I limit my Online Legal Services to project-based online contract work on diverse assignments for other attorneys. This variety of work as a contract attorney enhances my skills and deepens my legal knowledge, and enables me the flexibility to make Alternative Dispute Resolution the focus of my practice.
